Far Cry 5 | Mainline

Far Cry 5 is set in Hope County, Montana which is home to the cult called Eden's Gate. The goal is to go in, kick some ass and do the normal Far Cry things to return the land back to the citizens of the area and free it from the clutches of the cult.

I like the concept of this Far Cry installment, or maybe that's just because I have a thing against cults. Either way, I enjoyed the premise of this one. The vehicles were nice, and I like the planes and helicopters, even though I couldn't fly them very well sometimes. I felt like the sneakiness requirement worked well and I didn't feel like I was stumbling over the controls too much.

The buddies that help you could use a little work on their AI, but they were at least a little comic relief.

I'll continue to add more of my thought the further I play though.

So I've played this before and know where it's all going and how it's going to get there. But I really do like watching Nuggets figure things out.

This is an interesting game to watch someone play. There have been several times that I have thought about playing it myself, but because of my problems with motion sickness I don't think I would be able to easily. I do find the story fascinating and there are several moments in Nuggett's playthrough that I have found highly entertaining so there is that.
