Stick Fight | 123Go!

We tried our hand at fighting each other in the Swedish game from Landfall, Stick Fight! This is our first video of the series and we experienced a slew of technical difficulties. It was downright terrible, but we finally got all the knobs turned correctly by the third take. So while we strive to capture all of our reactions to playing the game for the first time, we missed the mark a bit with this one. Regardless, it still turned out to be a great session.

PaPaNuggett (Byttorr)

This is a fun game to jump into for some party game action. The controls are simple, move, attack, and block. Though I'm not sure how great blocking helps. The action is quick paced and there is little down time. It  is a continuous steam of fighting. I think a controller is a bit easier to use over a keyboard, but both can be used without too much difficulty. With the keyboard, it can be easy to lose the position of your cursor, but can also make for more precise aiming with weapons.

Loki

STICK FIGHT! Nothing complicated just make sure everyone dies before you do. There's enough variability that it doesn't seem repetitive and it's such a simple game with a great flow that you end up losing track not only of time but of who's winning. Just great fun all the way around.

MonkeyFeathers

A very simple, but fun game to play with friends. You can attack by punching, kicking or using the weapons that drop onto the field. I did find that with only three players, it can make the game play a little unfair at times with how the levels can be. Sometimes you have two players on one side destined to duke it out while one watches from a distance because of a chasm in between them. I think playing with two or four people would make it the most fair to play. It is a fun game to play nonetheless, and the phrases that pop up when everyone dies are great as well. It is definitely a game that you can spend hours playing without realizing it. Worth it in my opinion.
